DEAREST,
Loki, Today I saw you and I decided to take a chance, lately I am always so busy do something for someone else or with my world that I am unsure how to make the time to meet someone who I deem interesting.
You may find this strange but at this point in the world what can a demigod do really?
Hey, my name is Bob* and I know everyone else on Earth seems to hate us and everything, but I really like your eyes and smile also how fast you run, it comes in handy nowadays, we should go out to a movie... Well by out I mean lets go and risk our lives to see someone get tormented by a fake ghost when we could just go visit the Hades cabin with popcorn and save the price of admission
Yeah, for some reason I just cannot get the gall up to try that pick up line out on you so I am going for the creepier, stalker route and sending you an anonymous Iris Message in hopes that you know... I don't really know what will happen from here but hey, worth a shot. Probably safer than internet dating and definitely easier than attempting to put up a 'missed connection' on Craigslist right?
Me: Brown hair green eyed girl covered in dirt and probably wobbling around like some crazed hobo in NYC You: Very cute, (gotta play up your ego here of course!) Hermes demigod guy with a great smile. Plus a very entertaining humor who was running up through the border with DCA on your buttocks. We should meet up and chat over a group of agents trying to kill or detain us.
So yeah, this message has gotten a bit crazy, yeah. So... to end this I wrote you a haiku that I hope will make you laugh more so than freak you out.
Is it still stalking? If I type your home address into Google Earth?
*Added note: Bob is not my real name of course... and if you are into Bobs let me know in a hopeful response so that way I don't continue to make a fool of myself. Kay? Thanks! **Neither is this one. Could you imagine how crappy it would be to be named that forever? But it has a pretty good meaning.
SINCERELY YOURS,
Gardenia**

DEAREST,
Gardenia, Well, uh thanks for the appreciative message. I seem to be at a disadvantage here, you know my name yet I do not know yours - all I have to work with are two names, both of which are fake. Throw me a hint, I don't have the brains of an Athena kid.
Also glad that the whole thing with the DCA was amusing. Live to amuse, that's me. And be a thorn in the side of the DCA. and FBI. And CIA. And generally the whole US Government.
So uh...going to tell me your name? I have to admit - it's a little strange to have a secret admirer.
SINCERELY YOURS,
Loki

DEAREST,
Loki, What is the fun of being a secret admirer or having one if you know who they are by the second note? Then again its more fun to play games.
I don't mean crazy mind games where I cry and you ask whats wrong and I tell you its nothing... Yeah my dad would have me scrubbing all the buses for doing something like that.
First hint to my name: My first name is also one of a mutant from The Brotherhood, comics if you couldn't figure that part out, she could create and control (at least) two zombie-like creatures. She apparently could burn someone with a mere touch. Not a major character but still pretty awesome if you ask me.
Second hint to my name: My middle name is the most cliche annoying name in the world when it comes to my mother. But to make it easier it also was the name an American sitcom broadcast on NBC from January 3, 1991 to May 22, 1995 that starred Mayim Bialik.
Third hint to my name: My last name is a bit easier, it is famous-ish, if you like country music or are a fan of marijuana or marijuana laws, but thats not all that fun if I just tell you who my dad is... I mean name dropping how passe, its much better to just let people figure it out by giving them very big hints (see above). Any ways, another way you could go by it is my name is also the name of small to medium-sized passerine birds in the family Sturnidae.
Okay if you are confused at this point and are just sitting there staring at this not knowing what to do... Which if this is the truth you disappoint me Hermes boy.
The best hint of all and the one that basically gives everything away, you can just find out all this information via Wikipedia... Save yourself a trip to the library codebreaker. <3
If you haven't figured it out by your next note I think I may have to move my admiration on to someone who is not a bit of a dunce... If you have yay, you have the intellect of at least a fifteen year old boy with a very soft and smooth right hand.
Yes that was a dirty joke, moving on.
I don't know really what else there is to say but glad you enjoyed messing with the DCA and hope we can at least continue our now not-so-secret secret admirer notes.
SINCERELY YOURS,
Gardenia**

DEAREST,
Gardenia, Aaah yes, mind games. How I love those, they're actually pretty fun. I think you'll find that any fun little games you have in mind, I can match them with my dashing wit and charm. I just winked by the way.
Hmm, first hint. Now I'm afraid I won't get that. You see, despite my extensive knowledge, I never read the Brotherhood comics. I'll have to Wikipedia that sometime. Onto the second hint!
Well now, your middle name...Judging from the clues you have given about the TV show, I'm guessing that it's something flowery. Blossom, perhaps? Once more unto the breach! Third clue coming up!
And no I did not get all cliché tv show presenter there. Anyway... A type of bird, from that particular family. Hmm, well now I'm just so disappointed I forgot my book on bird breeds. Not really, I'm a smart guy. Not a dunce I'll have you know. It's a starling, right?
Now all I have to do is Wikipedia that comic book clue...Or you know, you could just pretend that my interrogation techniques worked and tell me. Don't make me go all FBI on yo' ass.
SINCERELY YOURS,
Loki

DEAREST,
Loki,
I am definitely a little disappointed in you Mr. Hermes-Man, I always thought you guys could figure out any coded message, but then again I may be just a bit too much for ya'.
Anyways, to keep you from having to waste your time on the internet, you know once you wiki one thing it never ends, you'll be stuck on that sucker for hours, or until your eyes bleed at least. *insert a laugh here*.
Anyways, my name is Fiona Blossom Starling... So one outta three ain't bad, I guess that was Meatloaf's original song.
Anyways, if anyone ever did decide to ask me about these not-so-secret-secret-admirer-notes I will just tell them your dashingly amazing interrogation skills got me in a corner and I just had to tell ya' my name.
Ps. If you know of and want tickets to one of my dad's shows, it is definitely happening, you just gotta pay... I'm awesome but gotta make that money.
SINCERELY YOURS,
Fiona B. Starling

DEAREST,
Fiona, Well now, you aren't too much for me. I didn't expect I'd have to break a code back here at Camp, I am on a temporary holiday after all, and no work gets done on holidays. But surely giving me clues and telling me your name defeats the purpose of this whole secret admirer business thing.
It is nice to meet you Miss Starling. I guess this will have to do as a sort of informal meeting, I'll be off to cause some havoc for the DCA soon so not much time for meeting and greeting.
I am dashingly amazing aren't I. -strokes chin- But I will have to let you know that these notes are hardly going to be destroyed - every bit of information has a possible use so why would I destroy such a goldmine? No, they will be safely hidden away in case you ever do decide to talk about my interrogation skills. I can then counter.
Many thanks for the offer, I shall let you know. Not really one for crowds me, unless there is a decent amount of stealing to be done. Besides, it's just a little dangerous for demigods to be out and about nowadays...lets not give the DCA a chance to take any of you young ones captive.
SINCERELY YOURS,
Loki
