Lorelei walked up to her front door from the beach, keeping Elysia close to her chest smiling coyly every time she glanced at the man walking next to her under the umbrella. It was a dream come true almost, there were still annoying negative thoughts constantly popping up in her head as they took each step. But Lori pushed the thoughts back as much as she could, she was in desperate need of sleep and Levi seemed to truly want to spend time with his daughter, Lorelei was never going to deny him that.
"I really hope that this storm isn't too bad... I won't be able to even get out of bed if its as bad as you say." She looked up and smiled a bit as she unlocked her front door. A soft grin came over her lips as the mention of Halloween came up, "I think you'd make an amazing solider... Oh wait, you already do that." She chuckled as she walked through the door and stepped to the side, throwing her keys into a soft clay bowl on top of her front entrance table. "Its still a work in progress, but welcome to mine and Elysia's little home."
She smiled as she walked over and laid Elysia down in a white linen covered bassinet that she had put in the living room. Turning around and running her hands down her sides and into her jeans' pockets, "So yeah... Uhm, if you are hungry I have some leftovers made up in the fridge. I need to feed Elysia before I lay down but I should probably let you get acquainted with the place first. You know, so you don't get lost trying to find something."
Smiling Lorelei gently sat down on her couch and looked up at Levi, "Uhm, up the ladder is my craft room, it has a bunch of blankets and my computer so I can still run my business stuff and keep up with the household finances for back home." Pointing back over at the hallway, "Over there are the bedrooms, left is Elysia's nursery basically everything you may need for her is in there, to the right is my room. Straight ahead, bathroom." She looked back to him again, "I guess all the layouts are pretty similar, but I had them adjust the carpentry design and building style for me. I am not big into hunting lodge style."
Rubbing her arm a bit, she tilted her head, "So... I have to ask how you have been? I mean I am unsure what exactly has happened in the last year or so, but I want us to get caught up or at least as close as possible to caught up."

the walk up from the beach was fun with the three of them huddeled up under the umbrella. Her scent was amazing and Elysia's coos were like music to his ears. She was lucky to have a place all on her own, but it made sense with having a baby. He wished that he could have been there to help more and to be there when she needed more support and anything that she needed. Levi couldn't help but feel like it was something messed up. He didn't care though. Elysia was his and Lori was his. No matter which way you put it, he was their protector and he would protect them and nourish them in the way that he only knew how.
"This place is amazing. I kept the hunting lodge sort of look. Me and the roommate decided that looked better. But we couldn't have Elysia over until we baby proof the place and possiably wrap everything in bubble wrap." Levi chuckeled. He hadn't been around babies too much for a while so he'd probably have to go look up a book or someting to help him figure things out. He peeked his head into the nursery. "Wow this is amazing. did you do all this by yourself? you're so talented and I'm so lucky" Levi smiled as he looked around. "You really did a hell of a job on this place. You have a job as a home decorator right?"
"I've been alright. Toppeling governments, killing dictators and chasing terrorists. The usuaul." Levi shrugged. The past year seemed to be a really sore topic for Lori and he wasn't about to get turned into a geranium and then eaten by a teething three month old. "Been lonely though when you're with a bunch of dudes. I'm sure you remember some of them from camp." Levi pulled out a photograph that had been taken back at camp before they had gone off on another military excursion. He was younger in that picture, but a lot had happened since then.

Lorelei smiled at Levi as he walked in, the son of Zeus was just as handsome as she had remembered. She missed the times of them just being together. She really did want to be with him so much, but at the same time she questioned if they had really known each other at this point. According to him, they had never reunited ten months before and that her daughter was not truly his daughter biologically. She loved Levi, she wouldn't have done any of that sort with the person she believed was him, not if she did not have as strong of feelings as she did.
She smiled at his comment, coming back to the here and now, "Thanks, I'm not big on hunting and its not really the most safe choice for growing girls." She looked around and was quite proud in her hard work, "Well, until you get your place Elysia proof, you are more than welcome to visit here any time."
She watched him look into the nursery and a soft chuckle escaped Lorelei, "I did do it myself, I had made the crib and bassinet whenever I was pregnant." She blushed slightly at the him being lucky comment, then another laugh escaped her, "Thanks again, but no, not a home decorator. I was a wedding planner, well am I wedding planner I guess..."
She listened to what Levi said about his past year, keeping quiet and to herself, "I understand... I mean, I am confused on what all had happened with me and how Elysia came along." She softly sighed, rubbing her arm a bit. She nodded her head, looking over his arm at the picture, smiling just slightly as well as a slight look of deep thought over her face, "I just want to learn as much about you as possible, I really do feel like we have alot of catching up to do."

Levi stood up and gently kissed Lori’s cheek. “But that’s enough about me. What about you? What have you been up to? Other than making cute as hell babies?” He said with a flirtatious grin. At the comment of her being a wedding planner, it made levi think for a brief moment. Someday he would marry this wonderful woman and he would have a family. He would have to take care of them and protect them. “well with the amount of hormones running rampant in this place, you might have to help some campers plan weddings once they are older. I think Chiron will be putting rules like that into place. It was said in passing at a meeting the other day.” Levi couldn’t help but laugh. Things hadn’t much changed since he was last at camp… well to a degree. The kid campers were still pretty much the same but some of the adults really had changed. The world had not been too kind to the adult demi-gods. Levi counted himself as one of the lucky ones.
“I’m confused about this whole thing too, but we will work through it. Times will be rough, but now we will never be apart. Not if I can help it anyways.” He gently took her hand in his rough one. He wanted to do is best to protect her and to keep her and elysia safe. “One day I might need your help to baby proof the apartment. I’ll have to put a child lock on my door, I keep my rifles and guns there. That is not a safe place for her at all.” He commented, already starting to think about what he could change and do better to make sure nothing happened to anyone on his account.
“Well there’s not much to learn, I got my degree in Aero-engineering from MIT. After that to pay back college loans I went into the marines. It was something I was good at so after I became master gunnery sergeant, I was talked to by a superior in the Army and when my contract was up for renewal, I became a Black Ops soldier. Me and these guys here, we are an elite demi-god squad that was used for rather precarious situations.” Levi shrugged as he started to think about what else he could tell Lori without getting her into a situation that would be less then desirable. “My squad takes care of things that could pose to be a threat to our nation, so it’s personnel sensitive. Seems a bit stupid to be fighting for a country that tends to want to wipe out my kind.” Levi shrugged his shoulders. It was something that he really didn’t much care for talking about. His look grew dark and the rain started to pound against the windows at near gale force.

Lorelei's cheeks turned a flushed shade of pink as she felt Levi's lips touch her face, "Well, I have just been busy working and running a company, also keeping the plantation up and not in shambles..." She smiled at his grin, she had not really felt super comfortable back at camp in the longest time, but having Levi next to her made it just a bit more tolerable. She laughed at the thought of planning weddings for the campers, "I don't know if they could afford my fees... Then again its not like I'm able to spend much money while here so might as well do some charitable weddings." She grinned and chuckled before adjusting herself, scooching her body a bit closer to his on the couch.
She nodded her head, but knew that there would be some questions between them for a good amount of time, but for now they just needed to focus on where to go from now. Lorelei's mouth gaped slightly open as Levi talked of baby-proofing, then about guns, "I... Yeah, I will definitely help you make it safe for her to come over, not really needing her to become a sharp shooter before age two."
As Levi talked about his life, Lorelei nodded her head, quietly thinking to herself about how little she really knew about him. Everything was new to her, maybe the first time she thought she had let her old emotions take over her mind, but this time she was going to make sure to know him before diving in head first. They didn't need another baby any time soon, even though she would never say never...
"I believe what you did was for the good of everyone, not just for the people who hate us, but for us as well. By serving them, you helped the good people as well, you have to always remember that, otherwise you will eat yourself up."
She gently took his hand and held it close to her as his face grew dark and he looked towards the windows, "Levi, I care about you and missed you so very much, I only want to know more about you because right now all my feelings are from a memory. I have changed, you have changed, I hope that we have changed to a point where us being together would work. At the same time, I want you to know I am going to always be here for you."
Her eyes shifted to the storm, "I would like it if you stayed here at least until the storm passed... Just in case." She smiled softly at him, hoping he would take her invitation.

"There's nothing wrong with being a sharp shooter, just not at such a young age. Its not about gun control its about saftey." Levi said as he nodded his head. He didn't want Elysia to get hurt or anything like that. He made sure that he would keep his lock tight and secure so no one would get hurt. There were many tricky hermes kids around that wanted to get their grubby little paws on some things he had in his room. "I think I might have to get a magic lock for my gun cabinet now that I think about it...." Levi trailed off as he started to think about ways of keeping some people out. "especailly since my roommate is Loki. But I trust him." Levi knew his roommate on an alright basis, but it was the guys little sibblings he didn't trust.
"A charity wedding? I could see ours being almost like an irish weding." Levi grinned as he could see his drunken mother's side of the family. But it wasn't like they would be able to come in the near forseeable future. But that would be if only the other party concented. "One day I will marry you like I promised." Levi said in a low voice, maybe Lori heard it maybe she didn't, it was more of making sure that his resolve there. He found that just like in the older days when he was much more calm around her, not as tightly woven and like a loaded spring. He could feel himself relax back into the couch as Elysia cooed from where ever she had scooched off too. "I do know that my job is more to protect these people here, you, elysia, zippo, all my friends and family are here now. Its not like my mortal family will have anything to do with me these days." Levi shrugged, but in all honesty he had made peace with what had happened in the past few years.
"I will always be here for you." Levi grasped lori's hand tightly in his, making sure that what he couldn't say was passed through his squeeze. Trying to convey when words failed him was something he was better at. He was always trying to make other people happy, but now he was happy and nothing could make him feel better then what he did right now. "I'll stay here if you want. Besides this place is way more comfy then mine. Mine is like a hunting lodge, maybe you should come and decorate so its more me. I like hunting, but not that much. I'm more of a well... I dunno what I like particularly."
