Liza, Didn't know if it was okay to tell mum about Conor or not. But I did anyways and had her fish me out my old baseball glove from when I was his age. Plan on picking it up on my next supply run when they send me out.
If you ever want the night off you know I can always have Conor say the night over at my place. I'm sure my roommate wouldn't mind...too much. We should do something some time. You know just the three of us. Okay. Hit me up. Yours Always
SINCERELY,
Sox

Sox, Well thats awesome about the glove, I bet he'd love to play catch with you; you could probably throw it far enough for it to be fun for him. He also has a football from my brother here in my place.
If you ever want any help with talking to your mom about him I am more than up for it, my mom didn't meet Conor til he was almost two, I became an expert on surprising parents with a kid in tow.
On the whole idea of me taking a night off, that is something I am not too sure about. Its not that I don't trust you with him, if there is anyone I would trust with my son it'd be his father. It's just I don't really know your roommate and he has been attached to my hip since day one so its just... yeah, difficult for me to hand him over to anyone. But, instead of him spending the night at your place, I could totally use a night to myself without waking up every couple hours or so from his night terrors. If you wouldn't mind crashing on a bunk bed, we have a spare in his room... I'd be cool with you staying the night here. Heck if you wanted to stay a weekend or a couple days I'd be cool, I could get some housework done and do some personal stuff without worrying about Conor.
But yeah, just let me know, I really do like the idea of us all hanging out, maybe have a family day or something? I'm not all that great at planning much anymore beyond a schedule for Soxy...
YO' BABY MOMMA,
Liza, Who just couldn't help herself with the end greeting.

Liza, Yeah I know we're not supposed to have too much contact with the outside world now and all but I had to tell her. I mean she's a grandma. You don't keep that from your mom you know. She wants me to bring her a picture or she'll hold the glove hostage she says. I don't believe she will... though since I told her she might have gone out and gotten him a whole bunch of stuff. Hope not I can only carry so much even with a backpack.
You should still take a night off. My roommate's awesome but I understand your concern. Sure I can come over some time. Though on second thought going over to your place might be best. My room isn't exactly kid proofed and I don't exactly have an extra place for him to sleep though I could have set up a nest for him on the floor or in the beanbag chair...but anyways. yeah I could totally stay a couple of nights besides it's not like my place isn't too far...
Hit me up anytime you want me to sleepover. I'll have to let my roommate know a head a time in case it's my night to made the chow, don't want her pissed off at me you know. If you and Conor ever want to come over to my place for dinner or lunch or breakfast you guys can too. April wouldn't mind the company, she's great. If my memory serves me right which it usually does...It's your turn to set up our next outing.
SINCERELY,
Sox

Sox, Maybe I will have to send you with the duffle bag I have, its huge but it still can only carry so much. Anyways, I get it and I am happy that you told her. She deserved to know at this point.
I can help you get your apartment set up for him to stay the night eventually once I am more comfortable with the idea. I think it'd be great for us to have dinner over there and that way I can meet this April and you know... Judge her as harshly as a mother does when her son is involved. Sorry but truth.
Nah, you know me I will probably like her but I am extremely protective of Conor, one time a kid pushed him at the park and made him scrape his elbow and the kid's mother told me that my son should toughen up or get off the playground... I kinda turned her coffee into an Irish one then made her drunk enough to start stripping and dancing on the swing set pole... And she wound up getting a public intoxication and indecency citations. Definitely worth it when she is drunk crying at the officer swearing that it was just a plain double foama latte thing whatever from Starbucks... Her husband had to come and pick her up. Me and Conor had a very nice celebratory lunch at this awesome Hibachi Grill place that day... Well celebratory for me, more just a fun time watching a dude throw knives and fire for him.
Anyways... Thats one of my momma bear stories. Gives you an idea of yeah... I always forget who I'm writing to.
Moving on from my vengeance stuff, I think that maybe a picnic on the beach would be fun, bring back some old memories you know. Plus its cold enough now for hot chocolate and sweaters... We can look like one of those greetings cards!

Liza, Helping me kid proof my place would be great. Just be careful my room currently looks like a hurricane went through it and there are boxes everywhere I haven't fully moved in yet. Trust me you don't have to worry about April she's cool.
Yikes. That sounds like something you would do. No body messes with momma bears cub, haha. Man I wish I could have seen that. I would have laughed hysterically.
A picnic sounds great. and Oh gods no! No Sweaters! For years Mum made us boys and her wear matching sweaters for greeting cards. I hated it. No. I'm not being subjected to that again! No matching sweaters. You can't make me...oh right...sorry. Sorry for the mini rant. No. Just no. No sweaters. But hot Chocolate sounds delightful. Maybe we can even roast S'Mores...

Sox, Matching sweaters eh? Seems like a goo... Yeah I can't even finish writing that without laughing too hard. I was thinking like hoodies and jeans with warm winter boots over like... normal non-matching sweaters... I may be a little crazy but I prefer not wearing the same thing as everyone else, I like not being in a mental hospital or prison thank you very much.
Anyways, seems like you like this Miss April... If it wasn't weird to draw a winky face I'd do that now, so use your imagination.
And no one should ever tell me how to raise my son or make him feel inferior... He got double the god dosage with two awesome parents, your kid is invalid. Sorry may have a bit of a superiority complex but yeah... they can suck it.
Anyways. So the plan is you come over whenever you want I really got nothing important to do beyond apparently heal and rest and work, I come help you clear out your disaster zone and make it safe for a non-Big Sox cohabitation. Then we go out for cocoa and smores... out being walk a whole block or two, but better than nothing right?

Liza, Yeah trust me it was awful, all of us guys hated it but we did it to appease mum.
I do not like April THAT way. She’s more like the somewhat annoying little sister I never had, wanted or otherwise. But she’s cool as a roommate…most of the time. Even if she’s breaking me of some of my bad habits which might be a good thing in the long run…but I’ll never tell her that.
So..yeah. I might be able to pencil you in tomorrow afternoon if you’re free. Sarcastic comments don’t read well this way it seems. You’re free tomorrow afternoon yes? Well I’ll be over and I’ll help you out with the kid and anything you might need around the house. You know, so stuff only a strong man like myself can do *insert smirk here*

Sox, Definitely noted, if I want you to wear matching sweaters, pout until I get my way... Or threaten tears... Or just be a passive guilt bringer, "Oh you don't want to wear it... well thats okay, we just won't have as good of a Christmas and I will just have to accept that." Not saying that is what your mom would do, but I am saying it would probably work.
Good, wouldn't have to get jealous and make any girl get so drunk she does something stupid... Oh wait I kinda would, but I won't as I trust ya'. And sounds like I will like her, maybe she will get you organized and not throw your wallet under the nightstand 'cause you don't want your siblings stealing it and forget about it.
I have a strong little guy in my life... But sometimes he scares me when he lifts things that I can't. I know I am weak but when a four year old can kick your butt in arm wrestling, its kinda pitiful. Not really, he is strong for his age but not that strong, and you know I read everything you write with a good dose of sarcasm anyways. I never take you seriously in writing. Unless its about your family, then I do.
So yeah, tomorrow afternoon, my place. I will have to find a way to actually cook something for us... Or send you out and make you pretend to be the delivery guy for a great big pizza pie. You would definitely earn brownie points with me and the little dude. He misses take-out more than anything, he takes after me on that one I think.
But yeah, definitely could use some height help, like hanging things up, with no one in your house being taller than five foot three its kinda difficult to reach the top shelf.
