And away we go-----------------------
It was getting late in the day and Rhiannon had not yet made her visit to the Forge and Armory Area she so longed to look into. The sun had already crossed the half way mark in the sky, and her stomach was full and happy with delicious mass produced camp food. She had learned a good amount of her way around camp by now, but had yet to venture into many of the buildings. Rhiannon had never had such free run of a camp before, often much more structured and she liked them that way. This wibbly wobbly way of doing things was okay for now, but greatly impeded on her natural flow of things. From what she saw around her, the adults who stilled lived here and the campers that stayed year long instead of only during the summer, Rhiannon knew she would have a lot of time to explore and make a schedule.
Hurry up and wait, that was what Rhiannon often did. Get to a place as fast as possible and wait for whatever reason she was there to start. Not at this camp, not all the time. The doors opened easily for Rhiannon, letting her inside but the immediate smell of burning metal and oil filled her nose. The warm air brushed her face as it escaped into the much cooler air outside. All kinds of sounds reached her ears, mostly the grinding of metal and clatter of newly cut pieces falling to the floor. After a moment of getting used to the warm air Rhiannon stepped inside closing the door behind her. Her jacket fell off her arms as she walked inside, allowing her to tie it off at her waist.
Avoiding any machines that may cause a mishap with her loose jacket Rhiannon made her way around looking for the gentlemen she had seen in the center of the cabins the night before. It hadn't even been a day so she should have been able to see him, but with soot and geese on everyones faces it was getting a bit difficult. In fact very much so. Rhiannon quickly gave in and found someone who was not in the middle of something hazardous, at least not as hazardous, and asked them if they knew someone named Eli.
Her eyes followed the point and turned down the invitation to be guided to the other males work station. Everyone she had met so far seemed so nice, and helpful. She was glad these were the kinds of people granted powers by the gods. Making her way through and around people and their hard work Rhiannon had finally made her way to her destination. For a moment she couldn't help but watch as he worked on a bit of a project. Finally able to look around and watch people Rhiannon glanced around at all the weapons and armor she had passed in her search. Her tongue flickered out as she licked her lips. So many weapons, so little time. ------------------------Is this the end?

Eli was hard at work in the back of the forge at his work station working on a personal project a bunch of tools, nuts and bolts as well as metal scraps littered around his work table and on the floor. He had a screw driver in hand and was screwing in a screw not even noticing at first the Ares girl that was watching him work. It took a few moments for him to look up from what he was working on as he felt like someone was behind him.
Turning around he found his younger step sister, child of Ares. “Hey Rhiannon” he said shoving the screwdriver into his pocket. “What brings you to my neck of the forge?” he asked for a moment forgetting that the girl had asked if he could help make her some armor and a weapon. Armor smithing and weaponry wasn’t his specialty like some of his other brothers and sisters but he was adept at it as well and could do it. He enjoyed fixing things more to be honest though building things out of the norm was fun as well.
“Oh right, you wanted me to make you some armor and a weapon right?” he asked. He pushed some of his stuff aside on his work bench and offered her a seat as he searched for something to write with and write on. He’d need to take her measurements and write down details of the weapon she wanted as well as notes on the armor so he could get started on it right away. “Go a head take a seat.” He said indicating to the top of the work bench that was cleared away a bit. “So tell me. Did you have anything in mind with what you wanted. Keep in mind it will take me at least a day maybe two to get them done depending on how complex you want it.” He said finding a piece of parchment and a pen among the clutter.

And away we go-----------------------
Rhiannon was snapped back to the task at hand by the voice of the person she was supposedly here to see. Not the weapons, or that rather interesting machine over there, though it was very tempting to go to it. No she was here for her own personal armor and weapon. It took a moment to tear her eyes away from everything around her long enough to regain her composure for the mission. Looking up into the males face she was glad he remembered her name. The only reason she remembered his was because it was so simple, Rhiannon was too many letters.
Initially Rhiannon had thought he cleared off the desk to work, but soon it was made evident she was expected to sit there. It may have been the face he gestured for her to sit, or even that he asked her to, either way Rhiannon looked at it standing maybe 3 feet off the ground. Rhiannon was about 5 foot tall, a little less but she liked to round up. Shortest in her class, and this bench was more than half her height. Not to mention the fact you're not supposed to sit on tables, and desks. Placing bother hands squarely on the flat surface Rhiannon lifted herself up. She wasn't used to trying to sit on something so high, it was obviously awkward as she fell slightly on the work bench, using her foot to catch on the underside of the bench. She attempted to keep a straight face as her face flushed slightly before she forced herself calm.
“This makes me feel short.” she said as her feet dangled far above the ground. She had thought a lot, and even her dreams helped a little last night for what she wanted in her weapon. Armor was still a bit up in the air. “I'm not entirely sure about my armor, but have you heard of a naginata? It has some good reach so it might help me make up for my height, and I kinda like slashing weapons more than piercing. I've only ever worn the spare armor Mr. Cole brought out for me to use, and I like shields for blocking but I can't use one with a naginata, so maybe metal arm guards? Maybe on my shoulders too.” Rhiannon placed her hands on her shoulders trying to think of what she actually wanted. “Not a half plate or anything that heavily metaled, but I guess reinforced? I'm sorry I don't know armor very well.”
Rhiannon avoided all want to let her head hang down, or slouch, or anything else that would keep her from sitting straight up. Her legs curled slightly under the bench, her eyes focused on the man in front of her and the task at hand. Making sure to project her voice well enough to be heard in the busy forge. ------------------------Is this the end?

Eli frowned slightly when Rhiannon said that sitting on the workbench made her feel short. “Sorry. I don’t really have anywhere else to offer you to sit. Usually when I work I stand, I find it more efficient to work while standing since if you need something you can walk over and just get it, not extra step of standing up…” he said. Eli thought for a second when the small Ares camper asked if he had heard of a naginata. The weapon’s name didn’t immediately register as it wasn’t a common weapon that was asked for but Eli had heard of it. “It’s kind of like a spear right?” he asked as he wrote down a few notes on the parchment as Rhiannon spoke. He nodded his head as she described what she wanted to the best of her ability since she didn’t know armor that well and she had only ever worn the spare armor that Cole had loaned her to use.
“No need to apologize. I understand not many new people know armor anyways, so don’t worry about it. At least you have some idea what you want. I’ve had to work with less in the past.” He said. “Okay. I just need to take some quick measurements, if you don’t mind” he said setting the parchment and pen down and scanned his workbench for a tape measure. “I can probably have the armor ready by tomorrow afternoon for a fitting if you want to swing by again then.” He said walking over to her and holding out a hand to help her down off the workbench. “Now, Would you prefer a small arm shield or metal arm guards? I think the guard might work better with your preferred weapon in my opinion.” Eli said as he stretched out the flexible tape measure.
“If you can stand with your arms straight out like a cross, I can get started on measuring you.” Eli said. He measured Rhiannon carefully but quickly and wrote down the numbers on the parchment. When he was done he shoved the tape measure into his pants pocket. “That should just about do it.” He said.
