Alistair needed a break. He had been studying insanely the past few days for hours on end, he had finals coming up and there was no way he was going to fail them no matter what. He thought of his uncle and all of the promises he had made. Alistair wanted to make a difference in the world, but he couldn't do that without an education. So he had decided that he was going to go do something that he found to be rather relaxing. He was going to go down to the stables to visit the horses. Alistair found a bit of comfort and relaxation in taking care of them. Before leaving the cabin, he grabbed his sword and shield, strapping the both of them on his back. Alistair didn't know why, but he felt as if he should keep a weapon handy during his stay.
As he came to the stables, Alistair grabbed a brush and walked up to one of the stallions that he had become aquainted with during his short time here. He handed an apple to Beau, a beautiful white stallion who impaitently stamped his hoof in impaitence, waiting for Alistair to get on with his usuaul weekly brushing. Alistair gently put the brush to the horses back. "You know mate, Things have been rather.... problematic here lately." The horse knickered in response to his comment, it seemed as if the horse knew what it was he was saying. He was no son of the sea, but Alistair felt as if the horse could tell. "The final exams and then starting a new term in about a month, School is busy and the life of being a demigod is equally busy." Alistair then moved on to the horses flanks. "Sometimes I wish i just had time for myself. Oh how I wish I could take you out for a ride."
