It was Charlie's brithday. Today was one of the biggest days in her life. She was eighteen today. It seemed like just the other day she was blowing out candles with her granpa and then boom she was here and Brian, was getting himself killed over getting her a present. She shed a tear or two. Then she went back to decorating her little christmas tree. The lights were bottles of mountain dew mixed with baking soda and the garland was made of wine bottle corks. There were a couple of coolers laying around and they were filled with drinks and a few bits of snack food. A few days ago she slipped a few people a mysterious note about a party in their beds or stockings or something.
A few people were early. Music started getting pumped up. She hoped her friends would come. Fiona, Allan, Eli and especailly Archer. Though she doubted that he could stay away from a party. She had a few intresting games, True Color for those who would like to know what others truly thought of them, an old fashioned coke bottle, Battle of the sexes, and strip twister. That last one wouldnt be pulled out till after a few people got a bit comfortable with everyone around. It could be a total blast. But other then that, she wasn't too sure on what else a party would entail. She took a sip of her cider before mixing and mingeling with some other people.
Soon the party was starting to get into full swing. It looked like someone had already pulled out the twister and someone else was trying to play pin the horn on the minotaur. There was a loud shout as someone got the pin in the ass. This was fun. The only thing that they had to worry about was getting TOO loud so the old nag would hear it and come to put a stop to the fun. The old nag had no sense of fun. She was, however surprised that her dad wasn't here. Normally anytime there was a party, her dad was sure to be around.

 Fiona bounced out of the Demeter cabin, her long brown hair flowing right behind her in the wind, she was beyond excited, today she was going to celebrate her friend's coming of age party... Well more of a "I'm legal" party, but hey, close enough, right? She had taken some time to fix her hair, but not much on just a bit of eyeliner and mascara; it was a party for a friend not a huge gala or anything. Plus knowing Charlie there would be fun games that involved movement.
Fiona had chosen her outfit of a pair of short cut-off shorts, a loose white t-shirt, a pair of cowboy boots, and her jean jacket; all in an effort to be casual and comfortable. Under her arm was her friend's gift, she had wrapped it up in a small little box with gold and red paper.
She had taken the time to make her a small little bangle bracelet with images from The Avenger's comic books' pages of Iron Man and Black Widow on it. It was definitely meant to be a little sentimental, but she hoped she'd like it.
Smiling brightly, Fiona heard the booming music before she even reached the door, walking in she was amazed at just how many people showed up, not because Charlie-Mack was not amazing, but it was just... Wow.
Slipping through the people, Fiona searched for the birthday girl, seeing a head of bright blonde curls, a huge grin came across the daughter of Demeter's face. "Well don't you look like a barely legal cup of hot sweet apple cider?" She chuckled and walked over, wrapping her arms around her friend and giving her a quick, tight hug before stepping back, "Welcome to adulthood... Happy Birthday Charlie-Mack!" She chuckled and her smile never faded.

Eli had been invited to Charlie’s birthday party and he had racked his brain trying to figure out what to make for the Dionysus girl that his brother, Archer was wooing. What did an eighteen-year-old Dionysus demigod want for their birthday? At first Eli had no clue but he knew better then to show up empty handed. Eli knew he wanted to make her something after all since like all Hephaestus children he was good with his hands especially in the forge.
He had ended up deciding to make Charlie a specially made cooler that would keep her drinks cooler that had vines and springs of flowers and grapes etched into the sides and handle of the metal. He was actually quite proud of it and knew that Charlie would probably use it. He wrapped a ribbon and some paper around it in a bit of a sloppy wrapping job. Wrapping wasn’t exactly his forte and he set it aside in his apartment, up high so his dog wouldn’t get to it.
When the day came he grabbed the gift and headed off to the Dionysus cabin. He usually wasn’t one for big parties but for his friend he would go and attempt to have a good time. He wasn’t exactly great around large groups of people after all but he would try. He was dressed in a nice shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a pair of jeans that didn’t have any holes in them as well as a pair of steel toed boots.
He knew he was in the right place as he got closer to the cabin and could hear the slight din of music that he knew would be louder inside. He knocked on the door out of instinct before slipping inside. He carefully picked his way through the throng of people looking for Charlie and anyone else that he was close to. It wasn’t long before he found Charlie and Fiona. “Um..Hey girls. Happy Birthday Charlie. I…I hope you like it” he said with a smile as he handed her the poorly wrapped box.

Charlie squeed as she was acosted by her best friend Fiona. She was super happy to see the daughter of Demeter. "Its great that you could come. I didn't think so many people would be here. But I think that's part of my curse. If I stay in one place for too long a party breaks out." She shrugged her shoulders. Charlie just couldn't explain it but things just happened like that. It was the reason that she got kicked out of boarding school and ended up here. There was no explinantion people just got the ping to party when charlie did anything from just having a few friends over. Charlie looked at the gift that fiona had brought her. "Wow this is just so amazing. I absolutely love it!!" Charlie hugged fiona tightly. She slipped the bracelet on her wrist and admired it.
"ELI!! Heya handsome! Glad you came out to have some fun" Charlie hugged her overly warm friend. Suddenly the lights flashed and someone had found her spinning pair of light up disco balls. Colored lights danced across the wall and someone turned up the music even louder so that the windows were ratteling. "Oh gods I hope none of the stick in ass adults get over here...." Charlie was a bit worried but after taking a sip of her cider she smiled. "I really don't know how these things happen." Charlie opened up Eli's present and smiled. "Oh thanks so much Eli!! I really needed a new cooler. My last one ended up in the lava because of some pissed off Ares git."
"There's plenty of games and things to hang out with here. There's some strip twister over there and it looks like someone has...." There was a crash as a few people who had started to play toppled over with some laughter. A few shirts went flying and suddenly a thong sailed through the air. Charlie raised an eyebrow before shaking her head. "I hope to gods a riot doesn't start. That's the last thing I need is to get kicked out of this place over the same thing that happened at my last school" A cheer errupted and charlie turned her head, someone actually did good on pin the horn on the minotaur. But all in all this was turning into a really great party.
