Artisan did not feel comfortable in the Arena.
He’d arrived twenty minutes early for his strategy/tactics class out of sheer nervousness, and now wasn’t quite sure what to do with himself. Artisan had been too shy to befriend some early-bird warriors who’d arrived early, looking for a quick spar before class. Instead, he was hiding behind one of the Arena’s many columns, as far away from the clash of swords as possible, and hoping the instructor would misplace the roster. If he managed to overcome his initial bashfulness, then perhaps son of Hephaestus wouldn’t be such a wallflower.
Artisan felt especially shy in the Arena setting, having always seen himself as the guy behind the scenes, the one that made weapons rather than use them. Needless to say, if he were in real danger, his demigod instincts would kick in to keep himself alive.
But right now, he was perfectly content to spend the afternoon fiddling with the scrap metal in his pockets, constructing simple toys for his own amusement...and hoping class would never start.
The soft tinkling of gears could be heard from behind the column. Accidentally, one of the pieces slipped from his fingers and rolled towards the actual fighting area.
Should he get it? Should he remain in place?
Artisan got to his feet and decided to go after the runaway gear before anybody else could get to it first.
"Ah, jinjja!" he muttered.

Levi had been in the arena early this morning. He had been restless the night before and didn't sleep much. It sounded like someone had been scrounging around the apartment last night and Loki wasn't around that night. Levi didn't like it and so he had been careful to mill around the apartment for a few hours before strapping himself up with his armor, his greaves and his bracers, leather gloves and his pauldrons. Levi slipped his knife, Lo'gosh, into his boot. The jagged blade shown in the early sunlight hours. His Spear strapped to his back with his shield and his longsword at his hip like always. Though the years had changed him, levi felt as if he was almost back in the old days when he was still just a camper. But all of those days were past and it seemed like such a long time ago. But Levi was older, a bit wiser and more experienced. He had seen things and done things that would make some people proud, others would snub their noses at him. But Levi did what he was good at doing.
The Arena was quiet first thing in the morning. That was alright. To be honest Levi prefered it that way on many occasions. The past few days he had been on guard duty and organizing things from the athena cabin to make sure his home stayed safe. He had little time doing things for himself. He had a lot of pent up energy and that was bad after a couple of days. A couple of Ares kids challenged him to a quick sparing match. Levi accepted and put his shield and sword aside, pulling out his celestial bronze spear. He hadn't used it much since he had been given it as a gift for helping defeat the gorgon. He had gotten such an ass whopping from something like that. It was well worth it in the end, the camp was safe and no one else had gotten too hurt while trying to put down that ugly beast. The arena clashed and clanged as Levi spun his spear, crackeling the air with lightening as he single handedly beasted the four would be challengers. Cole Ran him off as the arena filled with many of the younger students.
Levi watched as the weapon instructor drilled the younger kids in moves that had long been ingraind into his memory. It took a lot of self control to not go through the motion with them. But something caught his attention as it rolled into the middle of the arena. In a single motion he swoped down and picked it up and inspected it, holding it up to the light. A gear? Levi looked around before spotting the perpatrator. It was a son of Hephaestus, Artisan if Levi remembered correctly. He didn't know many of the campers other then the ones he worked with for his for guard duty. "You dropped this." Levi said he as he handed the gear to the kid

The Half blood camp was a place that started its moevements since early morning, campers were suppossed to go to classes on very different issues and topics. some of them trained with swords and weapons, others had to learn about potions and herbs, others tons of several different stuff, but among that, they needed to learn about strategy and tactics on the battlefield. Each things to be taught had an instructor and JinHyun Lee was the Strategy Instructor.
Early morning he woke up and went to the lake to swim, he wasn't ice proof, but he liked to challenge himself in every single thing he could, then he went to the library and read about one or two battles where his mother had helped any of the parts. He learned a lot in each of those scrolls. Then he had his breakfast and went to the Arena, where he was going to teach a new group of campers about the arts of tactics in battle.
He was already wearing his bronze armor with his greaves and his bracers, he also took his helmet, shield and sword. A sword that his mother gave as a gift years ago when he, as a camper, helped others to protect the camp from some gorgonies that attacked the camp. He proved his bravery and his mother gave it to him. He walked into the Arena and looked some of the campers that were already there, he noticed their way to grab the sword and swing it and knew they were Ares children.
then he saw Levi there, he was an amazing warroir and fighter, he was glad Levi was there, he inspired amazing fights. Then something rolled on the ground, Levi moved at the small scrap of metal, but he noticed something else, better said, he recognized a phrase told by whoever had drop that thing. 'Korean?' He thought and walked closer to where Levi and the kid were.
He looked at the teen. "dangsinui ileumeun mueosibnikka?" He asked and then looked at Levi and bowed at him as in Koread they do when they greet someone. "good day Levi, I'm just checking something, I'll translate in a moment" then he looked at the young asian guy.

Artisan graciously took the gear from Levi, and thanked him. He couldn’t help but feel slightly intimidated by the son of Zeus, especially after witnessing him throw four Ares children aside like they were paperweights. If he made this guy angry, he’d be snapped right in half. “Thank you,” he said, “It, um, slipped from my fingers.”
The son of Hephaestus’ face lit up like a Christmas tree upon hearing his native language, and he turned towards JinHyun. “Annyeong-hasseo, je ireum-eun Artisan imnida,” said Artisan, lowering his head. The language he grew up speaking flew fluently off of his tongue, proper accent and everything. “Mannaseo bangapseumnida!”
“Hello, my name is Artisan. Pleased to meet you!”
“Thank the gods somebody speaks Korean around here!” he blurted, his lips pulling into a grin, “The only time I’ve ever heard my language is when Gangnam Style plays on the radio.”
The quick switch to English was nearly spotless, only a small trace of a foreign accent mixed with his speech. Both languages sounded quite fluent, but like any secondary language, Artisan could easily mix up tenses and definitions of words.
At least he knew better than to ask Hermes children for definitions. The last time he wanted to know how to say armory in English, he’d ask Chiron for the location of the ovary. But what could you do with the children of tricksters?

The boy and then jin, whom had joined the two in the arena started jabbering on in korean. It happened to be one of the languages he was semi-trained in. He could listen and understand about half of what was said. Needless to say, Levi needed to work on it really badly. you would think after spending two years in korea he would have picked it up... but not Levi. He could speak Gaelic, Hebrew, Mandrin, German, Latin, Greek (both modern and ancient) and even japanese. But Korean just wasn't offered in the training where he learned his language skills. Levi was impressed by Artisan's switch, nearly flawless transition. "I could understand a little. But my Korean is a little rusy. Its been nearly five years since I was last there." Levi said as he leaned against his spear.
"So jin, mind if I sit in on your class today? I got some time off and maybe thought I could do some work in the arena, but Cole has already run me off." Levi's charged spear sparked and set off a small lightening bolt towards the sky. "Whoops. I still haven't quite mastered that just yet." Levi planted the butt of his spear into the sand of the arena floor and took off the gloves made of supple and soft leather. Gently, he tucked them under his belt and wiped the sweat off his brow with a rag. Despite the cold air, wearing the armor made a person's body work in ways you wouldn't believe.
"Its alright Artisan, accidents happen. If you need anything at all, feel free to ask me. Or any of the other adults. We will be happy to help." Levi remembered what it was like to be the oddball out at camp. Despite always being looked to as a leader, Levi was always kindda held on a special pedestal just because he was a son of the king of the gods. He didn't like it one bit and it made him a bit of a social misanthrope. He didn't much find his own way till he met Lori and she brought him back into a world taht was worth defending.

JinHyun waited for the teen's reply and when he finally did it, JinHyun smiled and nodded once at the boy. "jeodo bangawoyo." *Nice to meet you too* he said and then half laughed when he mentioned that only with Gangam Style he could listen to Korean in that part of the World. He knew he was right, he almost never heard his mother tongue in the camp, so he was glad too to have heard it from Artisan.
He looked at Levi. "I'm sorry about that, it was just a common introduction." He smiled at Levi and then looked back at Artisan and nodded. "As Levi said you can ask for any of us for help and whenever you need to talk in our tongue and practise it to keep it fresh in mind, just look for me, and I'll be pleased to help" He smiled again.
then looked at Levi and nodded at him when he asked if he could stay in his class that day. "sure, you know I love audience, also could help me to show some examples, if that isn't too much of a problem" he said and looked at the spear and sighed, he remembered Levi's father gave it to him some time ago, it was an amazing weapon and he was sure that even for Zeus son, it would be a difficult weapon to tame.
"don't need to apologize, We all have some difficulties with our parents' gifts." he smiled and then took off his steath his sword. A beautiful bronze sword, a gift of his mother. "I still have troubles to keep mind and weapon coordinated, the weapon itself has a lot of power, it gives me a migraine when I use it for a long time." he said and then put it back in his stealth.
"ok, enough talking... we need to start our lesson" he said and looked at Artisan. "come on, I want you to be at the front." He walked back to the center of the arena. "come on! gather in a five yard diameter circle around me" he told to the campers in the Arena and waited 10 seconds. "guys, I don't see you moving, you have 5 seconds... 5... 4... 3..." the campers gathered around him.
