It had been a while since he had been here. Though Levi had felt the need to keep up with the training of a demi-god, he felt as if his marine training had gone by the way side. He needed to fix that. So he laced up his boots atop his camo pants and he looked at his choice of shirts for the morning. On the bed in his apartment, he had an orange camp tee shirt and an olive green shirt that went with his marine uniform. It had been years since he had last worn a camp shirt, not that he didn't take pride in being a demi-god, he would rather blend in. That was what was nessicary to get his particular job done. But he snatched up the olive green shirt before grabbing his sword and strapping it to his side. The second thing Levi snatched up was his knife and he slid that into it's sheath in his boot. Then he grabbed his celestial bronze spear that he had recieved durring an attack on the camp. Levi was armed to the teeth and he knew it. Looking around his room was no exception, his guns (with celestial bronze bullets in a special place), his bow and quiver, not to mention his collection of assorted melee weapons and such. Then he turned on his heel and moved out.

The treck to the climbing wall was nearly the same. He had made the treck for years, the only thing that was different now was that he had a little bit longer to walk. Instead of from the Zeus Cabin, he walked from the woods. He was ready to be back in the outside world, ready to be back on the front lines and ready to defend the country that didn't even want to acknowledge his people. But now he was here, Levi was here to defend the people of Camp Half-Blood. They were his people, the people that he fought to defend and the people he laid down his life for almost every day. Levi knew that his training would one day save the many lives of the people that stayed here. Including his daughter. Levi loved Lori, he loved her more than anything in the world. There was only one person he loved just as much, Elysia. His daughter was just as important as Lori. He wanted to make more time to spend with his two favorite girls in the world. But first, Levi knew that he had to spend time getting his physical prowess up to par so he could be ready at any moment to defend them with his life.

Levi grabbed a bag of chalk as he dusted his hands in the crushed powder. His eyes focused as he crouched down along the starting line. Levi nodded as his old friend, Red, a satyr who had been a good friend to him for the longest time. Red had rescued Levi all those months ago and helped him come to camp. Red had always been his best friend and his companion. Levi heard the whistle go off, levi shot towards the wall that was quickly looming closer towards him.

There were times that Lance like to watch people transverse the climbing wall. It lest him know what was working and what wasn't, he wanted to make it difficult but not impossible. He also liked having a normal rock wall to the side, something that wasn't trying to kill you. There was always a side made to be easier, and it went all the way up to the hardest possible difficulty, but there are times people don't want to be burned. Or thrown off, which ever hazard Lance had incorporated into it at the time. He had ice and snow on it a couple times for the winter challenge, and it seemed like people liked it. The Hephaestus kids he had gotten to help make it where a great amount of help, he could never have made sure the ice stuck instead of melting in the room.

Someone was climbing the wall now, with the necessary partner in case of emergency being a satyr. Lance couldn't help but wonder if it was the satyr that found him, they sometimes got pretty close with the kids they found. He watched the demi-god transverse the rock wall, his eyes trying to catch what was giving him the hardest time, or what was easy. There were a couple things that looked easy but where an obvious trap, at least Lance thought it was obvious. The only red grip points glowed, so it should have been obvious.

Despite the fact that it had been nearly forever, Levi still managed to easily scale the wall. He was quick to assess and avoid the traps that were there. Levi made his way quickly up to the top of the wall before the lava had started to pour down. The lava was something he remembered getting scalded by the first few times he had climbed the wall. He had even burned the tops of his hands as he was climbing because he had thought the sons of Zeus were invincible. Levi had quickly learned that they wern't invincible, if not more mortal then other people. Levi sat down at the top of the climbing wall, Red kicked his hooved legs in the breeze. "Too easy for a marine." Red commented with a grin. Levi nodded, breething deeply as he tried to slow his beating heart. While the wall was easy to climb, he still felt the same adrenaline rush as before.


Levi stood up and grinned at Red. "Race you down to the bottom." Levi started to run and he leapt off of the top of the climbing wall, which was a good fifty feet in the air. Levi summoned a blast of wind to help him gracefully land. However the landing was not so graceful. Levi tucked in at the last moment when he realized that the ground was rushing up a bit faster then he realized. Levi tumbled and rolled, knocking into someone who had been a observer. "This was not one of my more graceful landings..." Levi muttered as he picked himself up and then turned to offer a hand to the person he knocked into. "Sorry about that man. The wind was a bit stronger then I expected." Levi gave a grin trying to apologize to the person he had knocked into.

Lance watched with interest at the climber, though more at the walls interactions to make sure everything was going as he had planned it to. The timing was correct, and the man climbing still almost made it look easy. Lance might have to step up the difficulty mode of that one. He had avoided all the traps, which was good. Lance only wanted them to go off if people had been too caught up in climbing fast, and it seemed as if the man actually noticed them before avoiding them. It was good all the way across the board.

Lance was a bit busy thinking, and his ADHD kicked in forcing him to notice the falling person who had just climbed the wall. His jaw dropped, who the heck would jump from there? The gust of wind should have been his clue, and possibly a good time to realize he might need to avoid something soon. Lance kept his eyes open, the man was still falling at a quick rate. He wouldn't simply land softly, but he shouldn't be hurt much by the impact. Lance was about to try and act as a landing cushion, but the man tucked and Lance attempted to step out of his rolling path. He had not changed direction of movement fast enough, the inertia of his forward movement kept him from moving sideways fast enough. His leg was swept from under him and Lance was forced to catch himself. With a slight tumble Lance righted himself, looking up at the hand which was extend to him. Lance had not needed it, but it would have been rude to just stand normally. He took the hand and stood, smiling. "It's no problem. No harm done, you did a pretty good job on that wall. I must say, I was not expecting you to jump off. You nearly gave me a heart attack."
