Eliza walked along the edge of the river, walking being more pacing, it was not often she had to wait for Zephyr, but she intentionally arrived earlier than normal for their meeting. It all seemed so formal for her, the idea of calling it a meeting, but they were going to have to sit down and talk with the Hephaestus cabin in the forge about building up a new house for their family. Yes, the apartment was perfect for their small three person group right now, but Eliza knew in a few months it might get a little more cramped; besides they deserved a real home with a backyard. Another queasy flip happened in her stomach, calming down she popped a small hard candy, she had started carrying dozens of them in her purse now. Her black studded sneakers were beginning to mud up on the sides, one thing she could say, when it came to dressing casual, her style had not changed much over the years, toned down a bit definitely, but basically the same. Eliza's head was rolling with thoughts and ideas, about today, tomorrow, and ten years from now, everything just seemed to be whirling around her; then she realized the world truly was.... "Crap."She walked over and leaned against a tree, waving the semi-cool air onto her face, she knew what the Apollo cabin told her was true, she had known for a bit now, yet instead of facing it she did what she always did, pretended that it was something else not as scary. Leaning her head back against the tree, Eliza slid down to where she was sitting on the dew-wet grass under her, closing her eyes for a moment, it was just to rest them she told herself, less than a minute or two in and she was passed out in the spring breeze, dreaming away on all her thoughts. Zephyr wasn’t sure why Eliza had called him to a ‘meeting’ especially with the Hephaestus cabin in the forge about building them a new house. Their small apartment was fine for now. But maybe she was just looking to the future when Conor got older and they would need the extra space, never the less, Zephyr was on his way. Conor was off playing and he had a friend watching the boy so he and Eliza could have their meeting.
Zephyr was dressed casually today wearing a tee shirt and a pair of jeans with his signature red sox cap firmly on his head keeping the sun off his face.
Zephyr walked down the edge of the river towards the forge where he was supposed to meet Eliza. When he spotted Eliza leaned up against the base of a tree, Zephyr’s mind went into over drive as he rushed over to her. “Liza…Babe. Wake up.” He said crouching down next to her but not shouting at her yet as he wasn’t freaking out that there was something wrong just quite yet.
Zeph tapped lightly on Eliza’s cheek. “Eliza, babe, wake up.” He said softly to the woman that had stolen his heart. “I know it’s nice out and all but this isn’t a good place for a nap. Besides we got stuff to do” he said with a smirk.

Eliza's eyelashes fluttered as she woke up and a soft smile came over her lips as she looked up to see the handsome face from her dreams.
"Hello there Sox."
She pushed herself up onto her feet and slipped her hand into his, "Hope your ready for a very hot and steamy meeting." She smirked and leaned up as she started to pull Zephyr along the river up to the forge, not wanting to give too much information just yet.
"So how has your day been, sorry I was just quite tired, just want to sleep all the time here lately, maybe Hypnos has been visiting me more often and I'm just ignoring him because the man of my dreams is way better than any god." She smiled up at Zephyr and leaned her head onto his shoulder as they walked slowly.
"So any biggies you have to have in our dream home? I want a basement play room slash family room, one of those huge ones with a massive comfy sectional couch that we could fit a couple baseball teams on."
She chuckled and let her sneakers scrape the ground a bit as she walked, she knew that outside of camp they would be having to decide whether to live in Boston or New York, then they'd be fighting over which starter home would be best, just one of the huge differences of living at camp, you can live in a dream right off the bat. Eliza would never say it out loud, but she had to admit she preferred this to having any real big discussions.

Zephyr smiled as Eliza greeted him calling her old nickname for him. He came to realize that they hardly ever called each other by their given names unless it was about something really important or they were really pissed at each other, but most of the time she was always ‘Liza’ to him and he was ‘Sox’ to her. That’s how it had always been ever since they were teenagers. He smiled as she wove her hand into his and lead him along leaning against him as they walked. “Hope it’s not too hot and steamy. Or I might get jealous” he said with a smirk and a small chuckle.
“It got a whole lot better once I saw you and saw you were okay.” He said. He chuckled at her little joke about him being the man of her dreams. She was the woman of his dreams as well. Sure he had been with other people outside of camp after they were forcibly broken up but it was never the same.
“Well, no biggies really. But I do request a man cave for me and the guys to hang out in, and you know it’s got to be Red Sox themed. Give me that and for all I care you could paint the rest of the house pink with purple butterflies. But seriously you won’t do that. You not exactly the type of girl who would” he said with a chuckle. “A couple of baseball teams huh?” he said with a slight raise of an eyebrow. “So tell me what makes you decide that we needed a house of our own. I mean sure I have a lot of stuff from my apartment and ‘our’ bedroom might not be the biggest but what’s the rush?” he asked as he walked along beside her.

Eliza smiled brightly at Zephyr, her mind was definitely still racing on just how much she was about to surprise him, she had been wanting to tell him for ages, but honestly even the hint of it made him have a minor panic attack, but now something quite set in stone may kill him over...
Taking a deep breath, Eliza decided she would relax and just enjoy the moment as much as she could, "I just think we'd wind up making the entire forge blush, so lets keep it PG... or at most thirteen..." She chuckled and rested her head against his arm for a moment as they walked, listening to him talk about a man cave.
A laugh came over her, "You can have that manly man cave of yours, and no there will not be pink and purple butterflies everywhere... But there may be lots of pink and fluffy things in one room..."
She smiled stopping Zephyr and holding out a onsie with the saying "Did 9 Months Hard Time Currently Serving 18 Year Parole" with a red ribbon stuck onto it, "So... yeah, this is why we are in need of a bigger place, and if we are going bigger by magic, might as go crazy..." She half smiled, half furrowed, hoping he would be excited more so than freaked, but she was prepared for both. "So, what you think of a Mini Sox-ette or Liza running around?"

Zephyr chuckled at Eliza’s response about the forge and smiled at her humor, just another thing he loved about her. His eyebrow rose as she mentioned there might be pink and fluffy things in one room. When they stopped and Eliza held up the onesie, Zephyr went speechless for a moment as he tried to gather his thoughts to form sentences. “Seriously? You’re…You’re not yanking my chain right?” he said. A smile fell over his lips as she said what he thought about having a mini ‘sox-ette’ or Liza running around. “Your Pregnant?” he exclaimed. “And you already know it’s a girl?” he asked excitedly. “How long have you known…wait…that does explain a few things but…damn Liza. Wow.” He said and picked her up off her feet and gave her a small spin and set her down.
Then it hit him that he was going to go through this for the first time unlike Eliza had. And honestly it freaked him out a little bit. He didn’t know how to hold a baby, change it’s diapers or any of that stuff. Conor was already four and out of that stage when he first met him. Zeph knew this was going to be a bit of a learning curve but he was up for the challenge. “Wow. Babe. Just…wow… he said unable to figure out what else to say. “Yeah…we really will need a bigger place after all.” He said with a smile. He couldn’t wait to tell all his friends the good news, no doubt that his dad already knew, because gods know everything, but he couldn’t wait to tell his friends and wondered if he would be able to tell his mom and uncle about it…or if it would be too risky to contact the outside world.

Eliza laughed softly, Zephyr's reaction was just precious. Wrapping her arms around his neck, leaning up onto her tippy-toes she nodded. "Really, truly, fully knocked up."
She laughed a bit more, especially realizing what she just said, "Yep, according Apollo kids in the clinic we got until October before the little one pops out, but she is gonna be an adorable little lady... Okay, I added the adorable." She blushed a bit, "I have known for about two weeks, but I wanted to get get a couple things set up before telling you, so you wouldn't be too worried about where we were putting her and making sure Conor got his own space without having a screaming infant in his room"
With the pick up and spin, a slight queasiness came up Eliza and she made a run to the nearest tree, letting out her breakfast as quiet as she could as she doubled over. Coming back up, she dug in her purse, pulling out a small bottle of cinnamon mouthwash. Rinsing her mouth out, she sighed, finally catching her breath fully, wiping her eyes. "I love you so much Sox, but lets avoid spinning me about..."
A giggle came out from her as she wiped her lips again, "It is okay Sox, I know its a bit to take in right now, but we have plenty of time to plan, get, and buy things. Also to get you prepared for when she does come along..."
She slipped her hand into Zephyr's and went on their way towards the forge, the air getting hotter and hotter the closer they got, "I really am excited about all of this, I know its just so much in such a short time, and I am here and we have time til she decides to come along." She smiled brightly, leaning up and kissing Zephyr gently on the underside of his chin.

Zephyr nodded as she explained about why she didn’t tell him sooner when she knew and he understood that. He probably would have been worried about where they were going to put the little girl and wouldn’t want to have Conor have to go through having a screaming infant in his room. It would already probably be a bit of an adjustment for Conor becoming an older brother and having to share his parents’ attention with a sibling. Both he and Eliza had gone through that before, though it was a little different for him having gone from having a brother to being an only child.
After the spin and watching Eliza retreat to throw up her breakfast making Zephyr make a slight face, he grinned innocently “Sorry” he said. “I’ll keep that in mind not to do that again. I was just so excited; I didn’t think…” he said.
“A bit to take in…it’s a little more then a bit but at least we’ve got until October.” He said. He smiled as Eliza slipped her hand into his and they made their way towards the forge his smile just widened as she kissed the under side of his chin. “I’m excited too. I’m also really curious how they’re going to figure out this house thing.” Zephyr said as they made their way.

Eliza waved her hand off at Zephyr's apology, "No, no... You couldn't have realized that was going to happen instantly." She laughed a bit, swishing some more mouthwash in her mouth before feeling better again, she really hated to throw up, especially infront of Zephyr, but that was not going to be fixed at this point.
She chuckled a bit and nodded, "That we do, we get all the fun holidays right off the bat with her..." Eliza's mind wandered off to Halloween costumes, turkey hats, and little Christmas and New Years dresses... That was until she felt the hot sweat coming off her neck, goodness she forgot how much she hated heat, but she needed the Hephaestus kids.
Looking at Zephyr she smiled brightly, "I know how it works out, Lorelei's is basically done, just throwing in some extras I heard... Its just basically a portal that goes to a location outside of camp, the location is sealed like camp is in the sense of if you aren't demigod or god you cannot come in, and if you are mortal, it cannot be seen. The land was purchased by some businesses Lorelei has friends of our nature in, where they claim they are using it for retreats or something... Anyways, we have the ability to live far away from camp, but to do our duties and stuff we just walk through a water heater closet and we're back. They are lots of work to put up with so they are limited to families of over three with no chance of splitsville." She shrugged a bit...
"Plus we have to promise that if there were ever a true emergency, we would become a safe house for campers and demigods to come to."
She smiled, "Make more sense now, here they will look like little outhouses in the woods, but we can lock the portal to keep uninviteds from coming unless there really is an emergency..." She finished her sentence as they arrived at the entrance of the Forge and a very tall Hephaestus man opened the door, ushering them in, "So lets go design a dream house Sox and not get too picky on the details."
