The big house was an amazing place, it seemed to be much smaller on the outside of what it really was on the inside. Infirmary, Library, the huge Attic, the meeting place... lot of places in that huge building. But the Son of Khione walking to the Big house was interested on the infirmary, not because he was injured or worse. He wanted to visit a nice healer in there.
Josh was carrying a box in hands. in it he put some food, some fresh salads and lemonade from the mess hall. He was the coordinator of the Mess Hall and taking some food for lunch. Fiona worked so hard that maybe she hadn't had the time to go get some food and as far as he knew people should eat five times a day, three strong meals and two small ones. So he walked to the Big house with the small metalic box on his hands.
It wasn't time for lunch but meabe an early dinner, yet it was the only time in the day he felt he could go out without melting like an icecicle. He looked around and nodded at some younglings that just got to cam a week before. A son of Athena and a daughter of Hecate, they were respectful, he only wished he would have been like that when he got there as a teen. He shook his head and kept walking to the Big house.

Rhiannon tapped her foot in annoyance, she wondered how long it would take to bandage a few cuts. She was only thirteen years old, and a female, yet she had to drag someone to the infirmary because they supposedly couldn't walk themselves. It had only been a flesh wound, and it's not like she hadn't offered them a stick to walk them selves. They had to learn to defend their legs along with their torso and head. Rhiannon went for a weak point, like any good fighter would. Her foot tapping grew louder and faster as she waited. The prognosis came, and the young man would have to stay in the infirmary for the day. She rolled her eyes and asked if she could leave. She was supposed to stay with him and bring him back if he could, but doctors orders and all. She looked at the watch on her wrist as she left, it was already past time for her combat class to be over. The only class she really liked, and she had to spend it sitting in a cold waiting room. It was growing close to dinner time already.
She sighed as she left the infirmary, stepping out into what she had expected to be warm air she had been in earlier in the day. It had cooled off. She was more than annoyed, and with that came hunger. It also may have just been an excuse, she was hungry a lot of the time. Growing girl and all. She was glad it seemed like all teenagers were hungry at all times. Someone she recognized as the mess hall coordinator passed into her field of vision, a box visible in his hands. “Hey, got any food up for grabs right now?” she asked pointing at the pavilion.

As Josh walked down the road, he heard the voice of someone. The voice kind of highpitched and bossy too. He stopped and turned his head slowly at the source of that little and annoying voice. It was a kid, between 10 and 13 years old. She seemed to have been training in the arena or something likw that. He titlted his head at her and replayed her question in his head. She acted as if he was some kind of waiter or a room service guy.
He held the box in his hands and the looked back at the mess hall, it was really close and maybe if the girl was hungry could go there and grab a bite instead of trying to be bossy around. "Yes, i have some food, but it was for someone in the infirmary. You don't seem to be deathly injured, so you can go to the mess hall for a bite." he said and knew that maybe the little girl would get upset, she had that type tattooed all over her face. She for sure was Ares daughter or a foolish Eris or Enyo daughter.

"Dude, chill. I don't want your box of food. I was just checking if there was food out in the pavilion. They don't have food out all the time." Rhiannon said with a roll of her eyes. She didn't know what the heck was wrong with this odd ball in front of her. He was such a jerk to someone he had never met before, the person on the receiving end of his affection sure must have been something. Rhiannon knew she'd never be able to deal with an attitude like that.
She crossed her arms, leaning on her right leg she frowned. "Of course I'm not the injured one, I had to drag a guy to the infirmary." she knew people could be dense sometimes, but she had not an injury on her. What could have possessed this idiot to think she had gone to the infirmary for herself? She tried to keep herself from instantly disliking him. She had to keep herself from judging him. It was hard to do, so very hard. "Who you looking for at the infirmary anyway? I didn't see anyone who'd be friends with such a fringed personality." as usual it all went out the window when she spoke. Rhiannon thought it might be good to fix that, one day.

Josh looked at the little girl and it seemed that she was rude, but maybe it was just because of her godly parent, maybe she didn't mean to be rude, Maybe he was still the same hermit boy he was when he got to Camp 5 years before. He breathed deeply when she told him to chill, something weird to ask to a Khione kid because they were always not just cilled but cool and fresh. "I do apologize for the way I replied... it's just that usually kids make a greeting first and then a request..."
then he frowned at her words. Did she really cared if he had friends or not? if they stand him or not? who did she think she was?! "Yes there is a table that has always food... I'm testing if it works this week." He said with a flat tone, then at her other question he looked at the big house and thought of Fiona, then looked back at the kid. "if they didn't stand me, then they wouldn't be my friends... right?" smiled and then sighed. "come on, I'll show you the way to the table, and also I'll give you the password for the nymphs, so they allow you to pick the food."

"I said 'Hey' wasn't that greeting enough?" Rhiannon replied, not trying to be a smart aleck but that was a bit hard for the little Ares girl. "My fault probably, I'm all ready in a poor mood. I don't exactly hide it well. I won't blame it on my godly parent, I need to get myself in check. Thanks for being an actual adult about it." she said in a cold harsh tone. Rhiannon wasn't trying to pick a fight, and was actually trying to apologize a bit. She knew her personality well enough, and she knew how she got while in moods like what she was in now. It was better to say what was on your mind and apologize later, at least some times. Rhiannon was trying to work out whether it was best that way, or to just keep your mouth shut. People could be really weird about some things.
"Oh yeah? Sounds like a nice experiment, count me in." she said with a little smirk. He defended himself and his friends very little, which probably meant he trusted their feelings. She hadn't meant to attack it, but thinking back on her wording she could see why he may have felt a little offended. Deciding to follow to his side, Rhiannon walked looking forward with even steps. It seemed almost like a relaxed march, but she still knew where every person in a fifteen foot radius was.

Josh looked at the girl as she told him that she had greeted him, well his father taught him that you should say something like Hello, good day, good morning... or whatever the time in the day was! But it seemed that this girl hadn't got the same kind of education that he got, so he sighed and nodded. "Guess so..." then she seemed to be apologizing, so he frowned less and nodded at her. Then smiled and faked a shiver. "adult?... I swear those words gave my spine some goosebumps!"
Then smiled and walked with her back to the Mass Hall, he knew that maybe he would have to wait another day to see Fiona, but it was ok, he wasn't going to leave that girl all hungry and moody around. "when I got here, I was hungry all day and night, so I thought that maybe if we had a table with food all day and all night, maybe some campers wouldn't have to steal the food or be moody around"

Rhiannon could not help but smirk at his lame joke, she had a soft spot for lame jokes that just never seemed to grow tired of them. After that first rather annoyed comment the man had made, he seemed to really turn around. It might have been he hadn't realized his jerk comment, or perhaps that he was also in a bad mood. Rhiannon could tell he wasn't exactly fond of her, but it was nothing to get angsty about. His mood lightened greatly, that's all that really mattered, she'd hate to put his face in the dirt. Perhaps not, that would be fun, but never for no reason.
"Yeah, I don't know why they didn't do it before now, I mean it seems like teens are hungry all the time. Not just you and I. They actually steal food?" she asked with a raised brow. She had been hungry before, but it was never something that made her feel the need to steal something. That was reserved for when you hadn't eaten in day or something similarly excusable. She had to remember that not all people felt that way, bullies had little need to steal kids lunch money after all.

Josh kept walking by rhia's side. She seemed a nice girl when she wasn't acting as if she wanted to kick everyone's butts in the camp. when she asked if it was true that campers stole food in the past, he looked again at her and nodded with a slight lift of his left brow. "yes, most of them Hermes kids, but yes, they did." Josh looked away and kept walking.
"who is your godly parent if I may ask?" he walked not looking at her, he nodded at some campers coming by his side, then looked around. soon dinner would have to be served, so maybe he would just leave the box in the fridge and order for some new food for Fiona. But first he was going to take the little girl to have some snack. "oh and... well where are my manners, I'm Joshua rogers, son of Khione"
