Fiona lugged her suitcase over her shoulder and walked her way towards the strawberry fields office, she and Charlie were going to meet there, jump in a cab driven by a friend of Eliza's and head off on their chance to have a fun adventure without the issues of camp and drama that was tied with it. No boy troubles, no chores or training, just two girls going shopping and living it up with a no limit credit card and enough money in the bank to buy a skyscraper, goodness it was great to be rich and young... Fiona laughed a bit as she set her bag up on the front counter, and leaned back against it, her own nerves were going rampant, it was going to be the first outing in years. Okay the first "sanctioned" outing that all the big guns at camp approved with the whole "no power usage" clause, but hey, who needed their powers when all they needed was a piece of plastic to make all their dreams come true. Fiona smoothed out her ruffled dress and adjusted her hat on her had, her favorite go-to outfit for comfort and style, she was going to look fabulous for the mini vacation, and she was going to make sure Charlie felt that way. Charlie was happy, strike that, she was excited. She bounced up and down as she put some clothes in her backpack. Sure it was a large backpack, but Charlie mostly had some maternity dresses. It was only for a few days but you never knew what would happen. She threw some clothes in her bag before slipping on some flipflops after tossing a pair of closed toe shoes into her back. Along with some emergency money, drachma and ambrosia, Charlie felt like she was ready for just about anything.
The best part about this sanctioned "trip" was that she was about to be outside of camp with her best friend. Fiona had agreed to come along on this little excursion and help her with the ideas for Valo that she wanted to get for him. She had made out list after list. Charlie had become slightly OCD after a while and sometimes it was irksome. Charlie tucked the list saftely into her brastrap, making sure that it wasn't showing. She didn't want to look like a pregnant hooker-bot. Charlie tossed the bag over her shoulder and strode out of the cabin. She waved at someone who had called her name in greetings. Charlie was bouncing on the balls of her feet as she strode around a corner and the strawberry fields office was right there. "Hey Fiona!" Charlie called to her best friend as she strode up with a huge grin. "ready to get this shindig on the road?"

Fiona smiled wide as Charlie walked in, "Heys!" A loud laugh came from her, "Lets get going, the sooner we get there the more time we have for fun!" With that she pulled her suitcase off of the counter and held it with both hands. Smiling brightly, "Off to the cab or do you got anything left to do?" With that Fiona snapped her own fingers, "Give me just a tick!"
She sat her suitcase down and ran like a bat out of hell towards her cabin, grabbing her purse and wallet that she had accidentally left on her bed, the place she had placed it so she would not forget. With a quick heaving breath, Fiona was back to running, as she dashed back into the office, she skidded to a halt, breathing hard. "Almost forgot the stuff we needed to pay for this little adventure..."
Fiona giggled a bit and readjusted herself to be at least semi-poised state, re-grabbing her suitcase and pulling her purse over her other arm, "Now lets head on out, we got a cab waiting at the front entrance of the fields."
She flipped her long brown hair and opened the door for Charlie, "I'm so ready for a wild and crazy adventure." She chuckled and waited to allow her friend out of the office to lock it up behind them.

Charlie grinned at her best friend. Fiona was the best friend that Charlie could ask for and she was supportive and didn't judge Charlie Charlie knew the whispers that floated around. Sure it was alright for some of the adults to do, but it seemed that it was frowned upon amongst campers. Charlie tried to shrug it off but sometimes it really got under her skin. But that was where her best friend came in. Fiona was always a shoulder to cry on and offered a mellowing out when Charlie needed it. "I'm ready for this fun to star...." Charlie didn't even finish her sentance before Fiona darted out of the office. Charlie looked taken aback as she blinked. But it seemed as soon as Fiona had shot off, she was back. Charlie smiled as Fiona huffed and puffed. "You alright?" She asked, hoping her best friend hadn't busted a lung.
Charlie shouldered her bag as she grinned at her best friend. "This is going to be super cool. I can't wait." She said as she shouldered her bag and walked out of the office. Sure she was a little scared about what may or may not happen, but it was pretty cool. "My first time out of camp, I can't wait!" Charlie was pratically bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet. She was really excited about going to the city. As Charlie stepped out of the office and waited for Fiona to lock up. "I hope there won't be too much trouble. I don't quite know what to expect." Charlie admitted.

Fiona shook her head, "No, no. No trouble at all, we are doing everything on the books and being just normal girls shopping and having a fun time. Promise." She lugged her bag up towards the waiting taxi down the gravel road at the entrance, "Besides, we are staying the weekend in the nicest hotel my dad could get us, so if things get a little hairy we have safety and security there... They protect their heavier-walleted patrons." She laughed a bit as they arrived at the limo, she really had believed that they were just getting a taxi, and the older gentleman hopped out and opened up the trunk of the dark car. "Well looks like we will be riding in style."
Tossing her bag in the space, Fiona turned to guy smiling bright, "Thank you so much for driving us around." She walked around and slipped into the black leather covered interior of the gorgeous limo, it was much more business-like than party hearty, Fiona loved it, it would seriously be comfortable and a great escape from their hard shopping adventure.
Rolling her tinted window down, peaking her head out a bit to just look around, "So is this the shit or what?"

Charlie smiled at her best friend, grinning from ear to ear as she pushed a blond curl behind her ear. "I've never had the chance to do anything like this before." Charlie admitted to the daughter of Demeter as they walked down the gravel road to the waiting car. "Thanks so much for going with me. I didn't know what to do to be honest." Charlie was becoming more and more relaxed with each passing moment that they walked. "When you see or talk to your dad next, thank him for me."
Charlie peered at the limo, her eyes wide and big. A limo?! she thought they were just going to take a cab. But a limo, those things were for rockstars and important people, not for someone like her. She blinked as she tilted her head to the side, probably looking like a humaniod derranged owl, Charlie was just in awe of the car that was sitting in front of her. "well this is insane. I've never ridden in a limo before." Charlie thanked the driver before sliding in the leather seats. "this is just too cool!" Charlie squealed before taking a deep breath, trying to calm down her nerves.- "Fiona this is just too cool!" Charlie grinned like an idiot as she watched Fiona look out the tinted windows.
Charlie shifted in her seat, trying to adjust her butt cheeks to make herself more comfortable as she leaned back. "I just wish I would have worn shorts or capris cuz my legs are sticking to the leather." Charlie laughed as she tried to peel herself from the seat. "but this is cause for celebration....so...." Charlie pulled out two bottles of chilled apple cider that she knew Fiona loved. "Chilled Apple Cider!" She said, passing one bottle over to her best friend.

Fiona giggled a bit, shaking her head, "Then this adventure is going to be even more fun!" As her boots scrapped the gravel, even she had to admit this was definitely going to be awesome, they were getting out of camp without having to be sneaky at all... How many people got to do just that?
Fiona smiled softly and nodded, the thought of her father kinda made her extra homesick, but she'd have to suck it up, besides he only wants her happy, hence the "have fun, go crazy, but stay safe" attitude he had to most things Fiona wanted to do. "I will make sure I send him pictures of us having an awesome time with thank you written all over the back" Fiona laughed a bit and patted her messenger bag.
Listening to Charlie play like a broken record about the limo only made Fiona giggle her ass off, she was used to this kind of treatment, at least to a certain degree, but seeing someone else get beyond excited about it was definitely a treat in itself. "Yes, it is quite cool, you should see how awesome it is to stand up out of the moon roof and wave at people... They'll think you're famous."
Another soft laugh as Fiona gently adjusted into her seat, resting her head back and looking out of the window as the car whizzed through the country and was already heading over the bridge into Manhattan, it seemed a little magical to her, but knowing Lorelei, it probably was in some way. Looking back at Charlie, Fiona chuckled, "Yeah, we will have to get you one of those seat cushions to keep your legs from winding up glued to the seat."
Looking back out at the crowds, Fiona's mind wandered for a moment, it was just like being back with her dad, the limo the people craning their necks to see who was inside, tourists snapping pics... It was just amazing.
That was just about the time the limo came to a stop and the driver opened the door on Charlie's side, looking out, a wide grin came over Fiona's face... "Daddy remembered my favorite book..." They were at the Plaza, Fiona dreamed of being Eloise when she was a little child, she dressed as her many years for Halloween even.
Crawling out of the limo like a pro, Fiona slipped on her sunglasses and passed a pair back to Charlie, keeping her voice low, "Remember, you belong and you are amazing." With that, a bright smile and a couple bulb flashes happened, but Fiona walked, well more strutted, her way through the door being held open by the quite cute bellboy.
As she entered, quickly a very well dressed man came in and did a little bow, "Oh Miss Starling, how lovely to see you again, your father said you would be coming to visit, we cleared out and have your favorite suite ready for you... and your..." he looked back at Charlie, then the driver coming up with a backpack along with Fiona's vintage-style luggage, "friend..."
Fiona patted the man on the shoulder, "Thank you Joseph, this is Charlie-Mack Jolly, my closest friend, she will be enjoying the same treatment I have gotten here throughout the years I do so hope." Fiona smirked a bit, her eyes covered by her dark sunglasses, "Now if you do not mind, we will head up there and our driver will have our bags sent up, please do be quick and gentle."
Looking back at Charlie, Fiona smiled, "Come along darlin' we have a private elevator to our room." She put her hand out for support, she knew that this was definitely going to be a new lifestyle for Charlie, and Fiona was going to make sure she got the star treatment she deserved.
